Hi Everyone - Here's what's going on with us in Washington:
Morgan just received his Life Scout Rank and is excited to start working towards his Eagle. His one project he wants to do (and has wanted to do for a long time now) is to paint over the graffiti. We have a building that is next door to our library and it keeps getting "tagged". Morgan has always been very sensitive to when people leave graffiti around town.
Britt is done with Girls Scout Cookies and sold over 300 boxes. Thank you to everyone that bought some and helped her earn her trip this summer. The troop is looking into going to Disneyland or the Oregon Caves. We're waiting to hear what the final decision is.
Jesse sang in a children's choir this last week and loved it. She is going to be my singer I think.
Kate is doing great too although she was sick with an ear infection this last week. And when they say misery loves company, while she had her ear infection, Morgan had strep throat. She loved having Morgan home this past week with her. Now that they're both better and ready to run, it seems Jesse and Britt may be coming down with it. More fun for Kate! Yeah!
I don't know if the family knows yet but Brent was released as Ward Clerk a couple of weeks ago and was called to be the Varsity Scout Leader (14/15 year olds). This means that come December, he'll be Morgan's scout leader. School is going well for him although he's not enjoying accounting very much. Work is also good. Right now, he's job is stable and he is being told that he safe from the lay offs because of his level status.
And what can I say about myself? Busy, busy, busy. Never a dull moment in our home. Anyways. Love you all and I love hearing what's going on so let's keep this blog going. (I'm trying to be better at the updating.)
Love, Nicole

Brent! Jess wants to know if anyone has given Morgan the Hero Patch? It's in this last issue of Scouting... he thinks he deserves it!! And if you need a nomination and we could do it, Jess wants to!
