Clint's Surgery

I just thought I would let everyone know, Clint's shoulder surgery went fine. They shaved off the acromion hook, fixed a fray (partial tear) in his supraspinous, and cleaned out all the inflamed bursa tissue. They inserted a pain pump that continuously gives numbing meds directly to the shoulder, that will be in until Saturday. The surgery only took 2 hours. They kept him 5 hours after he woke up because he wasn't stabilizing. High blood pressure, fainting, nausea, etc. They let us go home around 8p.m. Then after I got him home he was awake every 45 minutes throwing up and needing to be readjusted until about 6 a.m. He woke up at 9 a.m. very hungry. He has been good since then. Just normal pain. Now he is more frustrated that he needs my help doing everything. He is not allowed to use the arm for 10 days, then he will have physical therapy.

Love, Jenny
