Here's Jesse's baptism picture (thank you to Mom and Dad for remembering your camera when I didn't hear Brent telling me to grab ours.):
It was a beautiful day, both because of the event and because of the weather. After several months of below normal temps and snow the week before, we had 80 degrees on one of the best days ever. She was so beautiful in her dress. We're getting her pictures done this weekend and I'll post it as soon as we can so you can see her dress too.
Britt and Morgan are doing well too. Right now they're going through WASL testing (Washington state's standardized review tests). This is Britt's first year and she seems to be doing well. Our concern was whether she would take her time and complete each question as needed. But she is doing well and only has three more days. Morgan is also doing well and is taking this year very seriously. He will be going to 6th grade camping in less than 2 weeks. He is so excited! It should be very interesting to see how he does because he will be gone for 4 days and I don't think he will be able to call home to say goodnight like when he's with his scout leaders when they go on overnighters. He is very senstive in this respect and is very mindful on how things are going at home when he is not here. Last night, on the way home from Mutual, his scout leader took his kids, his niece, and nephews and Morgan to McDonalds for Mcflurries. Morgan was so mindful that I would be waiting at home for him that he had Bro. Ayala call home to let me know that they would be a little late. He has given us quite moments of surprise when he has shown us how he truly can be responsibility. I have been so blessed with great kids not to mention a good husband from a great family!
Well, that's about it. Oh wait, there is another change. I will soon be released as Primary First Counselor. I can't believe after only 6 months as a counselor they're releasing me but it's all Brent's fault. The Bishporic was reviewing the stake calender when they saw that there was a Young Women's Girls Camp Advisor Meeting this Thursday and Brent mentioned that I would be attending. Well, little did he know that they have been considering names for a new Young Women's Presidency in our ward. They asked him to leave the room and within the hour they were on the phone asking to meet with me. I have been asked to be the Young Women's President. I am overwhelmed with this responsibility and have gone through many emotions for the last few days, so much so that I could not sleep last night. I know this is where Heavenly Father needs me to serve right now but I'm struggling. One moment, I'm excited and the next I'm wondering what I was thinking accepting this calling. It's been a roller coaster but not a moment has gone by where I have been prayed for strength and the faith to be who Heavenly Father needs me to be. Overall, I'm excited to be involved with the Youth again and look forward to sharing these experiences with my own daughters as they begin to prepare for Young Womens.
I love you all and hope all is well with you.
Keep the faith and endure to the end!
